18 oz Fiberglass Heat Cleaned Cloth
This Fiberglass Heat Cleaned Cloth comes in an 18 oz woven cloth with a standard width of 60". Full rolls come in lengths of 50 Lineal Yards. It is designed for basic insulation jacketing and is quite often used as a welding blanket or fire protection blanket. It is Flame retardant and can support temperatures up to 1000 F (538 C). The fiberglass blankets have been heat treated to minimize fraying.
18oz Ceramic Thermasil Cloth
This Thermasil Cloth is made of high performance textile fabrics comprised of high purity, high strength amorphous silica fibers that are woven into a strong, flexible fabric designed for use where severe temperature conditions exist. Its unique properties make it well suited for protection of personnel and equipment against moderate welding splatter sparks, grinding materials etc. Excellent for use in engineered thermal insulation systems designed for severe temperatures such as Turbine Covers. It is a Flame Retardant material. This Ceramic Thermasil cloth comes in an 18 oz woven cloth with a standard width of 36". Full rolls come in lengths of 50 Lineal Yards. It is designed for basic insulation jacketing and is quite often used as a welding blanket or fire protection blanket. It is Flame retardant and can support temperatures up to 2300 F (1260 C).
Vermiculite Heat Wrap Tape
Vermiculite Heat Wrap Tape has been designed and engineered to meet most stringent industrial applications. Vermiculite coated fiberglass tape will not support combustion and meets US Coast Guard requirements for incombustible materials. (Subpart 164.009) The fiberglass is non-cellular and moisture cannot penetrate the filaments. Therefore it will not swell, stretch, shrink or change chemically on long exposure to water. Because of the vermiculite coating, the tensile strength and chemical resistance are greatly enhanced over plain fiberglass tape.
This heat wrap tape is an excellent alternative for temperature ranges from 1500 – 2000 F. Its patented inorganic binder, applied by a proprietary process, can withstand continuous temperatures of 1500 F and intermittent temperatures up to 2000 F.
It is manufactured from a highly texturized silica yarn. Its binder is a vermiculite coating (aluminum magnesium silicate) which completely encapsulates the yarn filament. Exposed to high temperatures, the coating conducts
heat radially along the surface of the yarn, which prevents the silica from melting.
It is made from 6 micron and 9 micron filaments and finer yarn to enhance strength, flexibility, abrasion resistance and insulation while reducing bolt pull through.
Applications for this type of product include tadpole tape, gasket covering, flange gasketing, oven door seals, pipe wrapping and insulation

Premium Grade Welding Blankets
Our standard fiberglass welding blankets are made from our 18 oz Heat Cleaned Fiberglass Cloth and is rated for temperature ranges up to 1000 F (538 C). We can manufacture them to exact customer specifications. They are available in 5 foot widths and any length. If wider welding blankets are needed we can sew a seam for wider widths. All threads used are a high temperature sewing threads. The fiberglass blankets have been heat treated to minimize fraying. When temperatures exceed 1000 F (538 C) we also carry Vermiculite coated fiberglass cloth and Thermasil (ceramic based) cloth. The Thermasil comes in a standard 36" width. These types of cloths are rated up to 2300 F (2160 C). We can manufacture the blankets with hems on each side and with grommets if needed.
